Friday afternoon I snuck away from the gallery to go check out the first
Dia De Los Muertos parade in Milwaukee in 10 years. It was a beautiful, successful well attended community event. The parade started at the
United Community Center ending at
Walker's Point Center for the Arts where their was traditional Aztec dancing outside and inside WPCA had traditional shrines Dia De Los Muertos shrines installed by community members to remember those who have passed & celebrate their lives.
