I can never read one thing at a time these days. Here are the three books I'm currently working on.
Ablutions by Patrick DeWitt
The Anatomist: A True Story of Gray's Anatomy by Bill Hayes
Collections of Nothing by William Davies King
I'm curious, what are you reading?

These all look really great, I'm going to have to check them out! I'm reading The Mandarins by Simone de Beauvoir at the moment, with A Homemade Life by Molly Wizenburg waiting in the wings.
i've been trying to tidy and in so doing have been aggregating my massive collection of zines. that has been my bedside reading lately. very fulfilling; i can get through two or three a night and feel like a genius.
i think i have to read about that collector, though, if only because he bests my envelope interior collection by about 400.
Interesting books. I've been trying to work through my TBR book stack (that's about 15 books right now) so am reading Dan Browns "The Lost Symbol". I should finish that today then I'm onto "This Hungry Spirit" (author C. Clinton Sidle). It discusses the route to happiness and success and how to discover basic goodness through taking attention off yourself and placing it on someone or something else.
it might be the near decade i spent shilling books, but it remains hard for me to pass up an opportunity to talk about books. picking up more than one really good book at a time is dangerous, but it's something i do all too often. this is especially bad when travelling.
that said, i'm also reading 3 books simultaneously....
'the true deceiver' by tove jansson: so thoroughly nordic and slow, but amazing. http://www.nybooks.com/shop/product?usca_p=t&product_id=9251
'the sacred book of the werewolf' by victor pelevin: a totally contemporary, but still very russian novel. also, pretty funny. http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2008/mar/09/fiction.reviews
and i just picked up 'lost joy' by one of my favorite music/fiction writers camden joy. http://www.furious.com/perfect/camdenjoy.html
now, thanks to your reading list, i'll need to track down that collecting one...
